Mandate?
Bush is making a big deal about his "mandate" and the "will of the people". A lot has been said that his was the highest vote total in history.
Who has the second highest vote total in history?
John Kerry, 2004.
So look at it this way, Mr. President. More people voted against you than for any sitting president in history.
And his votes were all created by voters. I'm not so sure your total didn't have some electronic help, but we'll never know for sure, will we?
