Suskind's article in the NYT is a scary view of the faith-based presidency. It's been extensively quoted in the blogosphere, but to me, here's a telling moment:

This is one key feature of the faith-based presidency: open dialogue, based on facts, is not seen as something of inherent value. It may, in fact, create doubt, which undercuts faith.

You can be certain, and wrong, at the same time. Clinton enjoyed debating and seeing both sides of any issue - what the Republicans are calling "wishy-washy" is actually consideration of the facts.

I'm very worried about this country if Bush wins the presidency.
