Watching the watchers
The House Ethics committee gave House Speaker Tom Delay a slap on the wrist yesterday for attempting to "bribe" a Republican house member to vote for the Medicare bill. This complaint has been before the committee for some time, and at least it finally did something about it.
But ask yourself - why did they release their report after 8pm on Thursday, Sept 30th, when every political reporter in the country was watching Coral Gables, FL for the Presidential Debate?
