CNN finally lays out the facts
CNN has finally posted a story that lays out the facts in the Killian memo case.
- The memos may, in fact, be forgeries
- They may or may not be "recreations" or recollections of documents seen by the author
- The memos were supporting documentation on facts that are true regardless of the memos
- The secretary says she didn't type those memos, but the information is correct and reflects the conversations and thoughts at the time - namely, Bush ignored direct orders to take his physical.

Knox said the information about Bush in the memos was familiar and that she had typed documents for Killian with similar complaints. She also said the colonel did keep private "cover your back" files.

The CNN article does not contain any facts othan than that the secretary did not type up those memos. It is filled with "heresay" commentary by the secretary and without independent corroberation, it is just that "heresay".
