A Few Bad Apples?
When the U.S. Army will lie to cover up the beating and permanent injuring of one of their own, what chance do you think there is of them telling the truth about the Iraqi Prisoners?

None. If it hadn't been for idiots allowing troops to photograph the stunts America would have never heard of any of it.
Actually, it's an interesting study in how a picture makes a difference - all the facts were known back in Jan/Feb, and were reported in the press, but nobody CARED until the pictures were released. It's been the same for decades -- pictures make all the difference. If we had pictures of Florida officials turning black voters away from the polls in 2000, Katherine Harris would be in jail instead of in Congress.
