While I also think the "torture" looked more like something out of Animal House.
And that torture has its place alongside something already as immoral as war.
It still violates the Geneva Code of Coventions.

These guys couldn't have done anything better to shift public opinion Bush's way that what they did.

Were they paid? I mean by the Bush PR machine? Seriously. This can only boost war support.

Sorry, I removed the link. The previous poster has a collection of videos including the Nick berg killing, suicide bombers, and other very graphic images. I'd rather not have those images linked to my page.
I disagree with the poster about the backlash of the Nick Berg killing. It's completely horrible, but what is coming out is that it is a direct result of the lack of leadership and the policies of the Bush Administration.
Nick Berg was on his way home when he was arrested and held in an American-run prison in Iraq for 13 days with no access to a lawyer. He's a freaking AMERICAN CITIZEN and he's held for almost 2 weeks. The prison pictures came out while he was being held, and then he was released and not protected, and picked up very quickly by the insurgents who killed him.
The killers bear ultimate responsibility, But Rumsfeld and BushCo have shown a COMPLETE failure in their leadership and have a lot to answer for.

I take no offense. This is your blog. And yes one can only conjecture at this point if Nick was held by our forces how he came to be in the hands of those who killed him.
Don't mind me. And if I do wrong let me know.
