8:37pm. Majority Report just started 7 minutes late. S'Ok, JG is as funny as ever. Hey, they're going to have
Atrios on!
I listened as much as I could. Between actually working and the fact that their website was severly underpowered for the demand today, it was difficult. But here's my impressions:
- Franken is as funny as ever, but needs to get used to the long-format live show. And he's not holding anything (except his language) back.
- Randi Rhodes was as confrontational as ever. I listened to her only a few times over the Internet. I was suprised and pleased that she actually CHANGED jobs, it isn't just that AAR is syndicating her show. She's moved home to NY. I was disappointed that she got Nader on and used the opportunity just to yell at him until he hung up, then just continued to rant. I don't want to be
nice to Nader, but it might be good to engage him and see if we can get him to hear our voices.
Sam Seder seems to be a good foil for JG - he's got a good radio presence and seems to be keeping JG on point.
