Tim Hagan was on Mike Trivisonno's show this afternoon. I've always liked Hagan, and not just because he's married to
Captain Janeway.
So I listened for all of 8 minutes. Hagan was talking about his debate with
Tim McCormack, and how he respected T.M. as a person, and spoke directly to T.M.'s sons in the audience during the debate to tell them it wasn't personal, and that he had the utmost respect for their dad. (Hagan is a great combination of class guy and political bulldog. 's why I voted for him)
So he's going on about how isn't it great that in this country we can have a political debate, have a winner and a loser, and noone hits the street with guns. He says "It's great to live here, instead of a place like Haiti".
Then he pauses, and says to Triv, "Mike, there's one thing you'd like about Haiti".
"What's that?"
"No taxes".
Triv jumps on that. "Yeah, I like that. I'm outta here soon, this place is going to hell, I like no taxes".
Yeah, Triv. You keep on talking your anti-tax smack. And keep telling people Haiti is where it's at...'cause no taxes is
definitely the most important thing. Just look at Haiti.
