They could have killed Bin Laden before 9/11, but didn't. Why?.....
Reports are coming out that Bush & Co. were informed in 2001 thatOsama Bin Laden was in Afghanistan and a Predator armed with a Hellfiremissle could take him out. But it never happened.
I assumed that Bush & Co. were concerned over the legality or toappropriateness of the hit. Perhaps an unwillingness to attackwhat was at the time a soverign nation was the problem.
But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....actually, Clinton had long ago authorizedkilling Bin Laden.
The reason that the hit was never launched was because the Pentagon and the CIA were bickering over who should run the operation.
Are we a superpower? Or a kindergarten?
