Savage Gone - but little changes
Michael Savage was fired by MSNBC for telling a homosexual caller to "Get AIDS and die" and other comments. Like anyone's surprised. Hire a homophobe to talk on the radio, and sooner or later he'll let his bigotry out.
The news is being treated as a piece of entertainment fluff by most news organizations, such as the Washed-up Post:
A "Happy Dance"? Can you imagine the Washed-up Post saying the NRA was doing a "Happy Dance" when concealed carry laws are passed???? The first amendment says this guy can say what he wants, but a consequence of the 1st is that we have to ALWAYS point out bigotry when we hear it.

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation was dancing the Happy Dance, taking credit for having brought Savage's comments to the attention of MSNBC suits, who, the group concludes, must not have been among the 350,000 or so who actually watched "The Savage Nation." GLAAD had been aggressively campaigning to get Savage booted off MSNBC since the network announced his hire in February.
