Confusing, but important
The Critical vulnerability identified by Microsoft is important. Here's the scoop.
There's a bug in the GDI+ library used by TONS of software that is .NET aware. Basically, anything that does ANYTHING with JPEG/JPG images and runs on W2k/XP/W2K3 is vulnerable. Microsoft has a GDI+ detection tool that will scan your computer and find any software that uses the library.
Although I usually have privacy concerns over something like this, the vulnerability seems serious enough that I engourage EVERYONE to check their systems and update as soon as possible. Remember, a banner ad on a website could exploit this vulnerability and make your system into a zombie computer.
