Maybe they'll finally listen to JaBbA
I've been saying for months that Banks are helping phishers by sending HTML emails with links.InfoWorld agrees with me.
Extended entry has a new US Bank phishing scheme. Things to note:
- They have registered a domain name USBNK-UPDATE.INFO (see extended entry)
- They're not threatening you with turning off your account - they say it's already been turned off.
- They are using the current state of fear - the people who have done this to you are involved with 'terrorism'
- They state that there's no point in calling Customer Support
- They finally got the English better, other than the munged 'upgrasz', which people don't pay attention to anyway.
