I'm not a big collectible buff, but tonight was my birthday present from my father - dinner and a Cavaliers game. He happened to get the tickets for tonight, not specifically for the Bobbleheads.

I can't believe what a big deal these things have turned out to be. They actually brought them in under armed guard. People started lining up at 10:30 this morning. Luckily, my dad was smart enough to make reservations for us for 5:30pm at the restaurant inside Gund Arena. The restaurant manager called today to warn us about the long lines, and told us how to get in. We arrived just as the giveaway was starting, so we got our bobbleheads! Many people didn't - every time the bobbleheads were mentioned, the people in the cheap seats started booing

Some season ticket holder is going to get $100 per for these on eBay.

My Dad scored some great tickets - C110, club seats. The game was a total blowout, Atlanta just isn't very good this year. Now I know how people felt when the Cavs of the last 2 years would come to town and get blown out. Boozer got his double-double - almost scored a double-double in the *first quarter*. At one point, they were leading by 40 points.


The cavs scored 112 points -- it would have been worse, but the 4th quarter was almost all bench players. Everyone got free chalupas, but I won't be getting one - you have to use your ticket to get the chalupa. My ticket, and program, are staying with the bobblehead -- maybe it can pay for college some day
