Well, it's lunchtime here at SANS on the first day. How's it going?
-- Got in a little before midnight last night. Got a room with no Internet access. arg. No TV Remote, either.
-- Room too cold, bed too hard, etc, etc. I guess I'm no road warrior.
Today, however, is a little better.
-- Got my room changed. Internet access & TV remote, now. Also, it's on the inside - at 6:45 this morning the garbage trucks were making an unholy racket outside this morning.

Then the class started. Things are definitely looking up. Today's class is on Incident handling - sounds like a pretty dry topic but Ed Skoudis really knows his stuff and is a GREAT presenter.
Internet access finally available during lunchtime. Need to download a bunch of patches and some other stuff. A lot of people don't have their Linux ready, so I have a feeling we're going to have an install party tonight. Tonight's seminars are not as interesting as tomorrow's, so nows the time to do stuff like this.
This is turning out great......more later.
