The lates in the series of MIMAIL variants is apparently been done either by the perpetrator of the orginal DarkProfits joe-job, someone who sympathizes with him, or someone who believed him.

Basically, darkprofits.com seems to be a somewhat tounge-in-cheek site that supposedly hosts the 'Nefarious Underground Network' but is apparently just for fun.

Unfortunately, they had some internal strife and had to ban a member of their forum - someone who apparently took the whole thing a little too seriously.

So this person sent out a 'joe-job' - a SPAM message intended to make darkprofits.com look like an illegal spamming outfit.

Now MIMAIL/M, instead of DOS'ing anti-spam sites, is DOS'ing darkprofits.com and related websites.

It's like some kind of wierd arms race. Regardless, it's another mass-mailing virus, update your virus filters and don't try to look at pictures of Wendy and her boyfriend Greg's twin brother.
